Rockout Festival Canceled in Mexico Due to Lack of Permits

The Rockout music festival, scheduled for May 2nd in Naucalpan de Juárez, is facing significant issues. Local authorities have confirmed that there are no permits to hold the event at the Foro Cuauhtémoc. Despite this, the organizers continue to sell tickets and promote the venue on their website, claiming support from the municipal government. In early April, the festival's headliner, Evaristo from La Polla Records, canceled all his shows in Mexico due to "unforeseen circumstances." The festival organizers confirmed the cancellation without offering details or information on refunds. The festival is organized by the promoter IBG, linked to entrepreneur Javier Castañeda, who faces multiple accusations of multimillion-dollar debts and fraud. This situation casts serious doubt on the future of the festival itself.
